After playing more than 100 shows as part of their farewell tour, The Final Campaign, Slayer have announced the seventh and final leg of their farewell tour.
This fall, the band will complete the tour with the final 18-date run, which starts on Nov. 2 in Asheville, NC and ends on Nov. 30 in Los Angeles. Primus, Ministry, and Philip H. Anselmo and the Illegals will serve as support for the last shows.
The metal legends previously extended their farewell tour into 2019 after hearing of the traveling that fans were doing. Guitarist Kerry King said, “We’ve heard about fans who have driven five, six hours, or flown in from other cities or countries to see us, so we want to assure our fans that we’ll be on the road through 2019 and will get to as many places around the world as possible to make it easier for everyone to come and see us one last time.”
Tickets for the final run of Slayer’s farewell tour go on sale July 12 at 10am local time. For more information, see the band’s website.
