Tegan and Sara's 'High School' Memoir to Be Adapted Into TV Series

Indie pop duo Tegan and Sara released their memoir High School last fall and that book is now being adapted into a TV series of the same name for IMDb TV, Amazon’s free, ad-supported streaming service.

According to Deadline, the coming-of-age comedy series, which is set in Calgary, Canada in the 1990s, "tangles itself in the parallel and discordant memories of two sisters growing up down the hall from one another. This is a story about finding your own identity — a journey made even more complicated when you have a twin whose own struggle and self-discovery so closely mimics your own.”

Filmmaker and actress Clea DuVall will write and direct the series with Tegan and Sara serving as executive producers.
