The Doors Announce One-Night-Only Screening of New Documentary Honoring Late Keyboardist Ray Manzarek

On Feb. 12, the new documentary honoring The Doors late keyboardist Ray Manzarek will premiere in theaters around the world in a one-night-only event. The premiere of The Doors: Break on Thru – A Celebration of Ray Manzarek will mark what would have been Manzarek’s 81st birthday.

The “hybrid concert/documentary” includes performances by surviving Doors members Robby Krieger and John Densmore as well as Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins and Rami Jaffee, Stone Temple Pilots’ Robert DeLeo, Paul McCartney guitarist Brian Ray, X’s Exene and John Doe, Jane’s Addiction’s Stephen Perkins, Gov’t Mule’s Warren Haynes, and singer-songwriter Andrew Watt. Performances will be woven in with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews.

The documentary was filmed at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles in 2016.
