Third Eye Blind Announce New Album 'Screamer'

Third Eye Blind have revealed that their sixth studio album Screamer is due out Oct. 18.

This is their first LP since 2015's Dopamine and is the follow-up on last year’s Thanks for Everything covers EP. The album features a variety of collaborators, including Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells, Ryan Olson of Marijuana Death Squad and Poliça, and Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins.

“My current mood resonates with rebellion, energy, courage, and risk,” said frontman Stephan Jenkins in a statement. “I seek to combine it with a percussive level of musical immediacy in this collection of songs to cultivate collective idealism and an unapologetic aspiration towards humanistic values.”

Prior to the album's official release, Screamer will be available on Oct. 11 as part of the “Ten Bands One Cause" pink vinyl campaign benefiting Gilda’s Club NYC.

The title track featuring Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells is available now.
