The 2019 MTV Video Music Awards are coming up next week on Monday, Aug. 26. Each year, they hand out the "Video of the Year" award, the show's most prestigious award, to an extraordinary music video that stood out among the rest throughout the year. This year, the nominees for the category are: 21 Savage (featuring J. Cole) — "A Lot," Billie Eilish — "Bad Guy," Ariana Grande — "Thank U, Next," Jonas Brothers — "Sucker," Lil Nas X (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus) — "Old Town Road (Remix)," and Taylor Swift — "You Need to Calm Down."
