2023 Year in Review
Here we are at the end of another year already!
As I reflect on the year behind us, I look at the platform and see the most unique, diverse selection of audio on the internet. I’m so honored that we get to support all of our broadcasters’ amazing visions.
2023 was an incredible year. We expanded our feature set, built more relationships across the industry, and connected even closer with our Broadcaster Community. Talking numbers, we celebrated 6 years since the relaunch of Live365 and the second anniversary of our parent company, SoundStack – with over 70+ international team members at your service.

A bigger feature set
- Live365 Broadcaster Mobile App - We introduced our on-the-go radio management solution – opening a whole new world of possibilities for managing your station, including going live right from your mobile device.
- Package Feature Upgrade - We expanded all of our Broadcast Packages, including adding upgraded analytics to every package and a custom Alexa skill and mobile app to select packages.
- Virtual Machine + StationPlaylist Add-On - We introduced a new virtual machine add-on so our broadcasters can achieve an even more pro sound for less – with a reliable broadcasting environment and advanced programming software at your fingertips.
Partnering across the industry
- Global Music Rights (GMR) Licensing - We brought GMR’s 81,000-song repertoire to Live365, enabling you to stream hits by major artists like The Weeknd, Bruce Springsteen, Bruno Mars, and more.
- Airable Partnership - We connected with airable so all Live365 stations are accessible to listeners on airable-enabled products, which include Yamaha and Technics devices.
- Radioline Partnership - We collaborated with Radioline to bring all Live365 stations into the Radioline directory – helping the entire Live365 network reach millions more potential listeners every month across web, mobile, TV, wearable, and auto devices.
Connecting more with our valued broadcasters
- Support Chat - We rolled out support chat within the Broadcaster dashboard to enable even quicker and more convenient engagements with our Support team.
- In-Person Events - We had the opportunity to connect with many of you, and the entire industry, at a number of events – including NAB Show, NRB convention, and college conferences IBS, CMA, and CBI’s NSEMC. Spending time with you and other broadcasters gives us more insight into how to make Live365 even better for you.
- Online Events - We powered two online events that we’re very proud to have an ongoing partnership with: Fantasy Faire – an annual benefit for the American Cancer Society within the virtual world of Second Life® – and World College Radio Day, an event dedicated to celebrating college radio each year.
And that brings us to today. There’s so much more in the works that we can’t wait to show you. With that, I’d like to express my sincerest gratitude to each and every broadcaster for entrusting us with your station – we can’t do this without you. As always, if there's anything we can do to improve your Live365 experience, please reach out to our Support team (help@live365.com).
Talk to you in 2024!
