Bad Bunny Announces Summer Stadium Trek 'World’s Hottest Tour'

Bad Bunny has announced an ambitious 29-date stadium tour. The news comes after the artist sold out his 36-date El Ultimo Tour Del Mundo arena tour in record time, and before he's even played a single show from that tour - which kicks off February 9.

Posting a video on Instagram, featuring himself, girlfriend Gabriela Berlingeri, and Spanish actor Mario Casas dining in a tropical setting, Bad Bunny announced his upcoming tour on Monday.

"I was wondering … what if I announce my next tour?" the artist said in Spanish, before teasing a new album release later this year. In the caption, Bad Bunny wrote in Spanish, "now, 2022 has begun."

Bad Bunny: World’s Hottest Tour begins August 5 at Campus Stadium in Orlando, and will make 15 U.S. stops, including ones in Miami, Boston, New York, Houston, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. In the United States, Bunny will be bringing along DJ Alesso for 11 dates and Diplo for 2 stops.

After wrapping in the U.S. at the end of September, the tour will continue to Latin America for 14 stops in October. Tickets will go on pre-sale tomorrow (January 26) at 12pm ET via worldshottesttour.com, with the general sale opening up on Friday, January 28, also at 12pm ET.

Bad Bunny’s two tours may seem overly-ambitious, but the Puerto Rican star has been on a record-breaking streak for the past three years. In addition to being the top-selling Latin artist of 2021 for his third consecutive year and the most-streamed artist globally on Spotify for the second consecutive year, his El Último Tour del Mundo tour sold out in record time, selling 480,000 tickets and grossing $84 million in the first day.
