Carole King to Release Never-Before-Seen Concert Film & Live Album

Carole King is set to release a never-before-seen concert film and live album entitled Live at Montreux on June 14 via Eagle Vision.

The film and album were recorded at the Montreux Pavillon in Switzerland during the 1973 Montreux Jazz Festival, which was King’s first show outside of the U.S. The set list features 18 selections from King’s solo albums Tapestry, Writer, and Fantasy.

Currently, clips of her performing “It’s Too Late” and “You’ve Been Around Too Long” can be viewed on YouTube.

Live at Montreux is available to pre-order now and will be released as a DVD and CD set, a single CD, and vinyl. Unlike the CD and DVD versions, the vinyl LP will not include the renditions of “Smackwater Jack” and “That’s How Things Go Down.”
