Almost two years after the release of her album Crash, Charli XCX is planning to drop her next studio effort. It's called Brat and will contain 15 new songs, dropping sometime in the summer.
Totaling 41 minutes and 23 seconds, Brat is reportedly “a club record” according to the artist herself. She also wrote, “i was born to make dance music.. i came from the clubs.. xcx6 is the album i’ve always wanted to make.”

Charli XCX is releasing her new song “Von Dutch” tomorrow (February 29). It’ll be her first solo single since last year’s “Speed Drive,” which was created for Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie. Charli posted a teaser clip of the song to social media. It starts on a view of a billboard featuring the pop star, then the camera turns to see her quickly strutting away from paparazzi. "It's okay to just admit that you're jealous of me," she sings before the screen cuts to black. She also released another snippet of the song, with a visual that sees her throwing around chairs in a dark room.
