Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Joan Jett, & Poison Announce Rescheduled Stadium Tour Dates

In June, 1980s rock legends Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe will finally begin the stadium tour they announced back in 2019. They will be joined by supporting acts Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and Poison.

The group of bands will play 36 shows across North America. The tour was originally scheduled for 2020, but was later postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the updated announcement, they've also added five new cities: Toronto, Indianapolis, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Las Vegas.

“On behalf of the band, we’re beyond thrilled that the stadium tour is finally happening this summer,” Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott said in a statement. “It’s been a while coming and we can’t wait to get back on stage again and we can’t wait to see you in one of the many stadiums soon!”

Mötley Crüe added, “It’s on! We don’t think we’ve ever looked forward more to kicking off a tour than this one. We can’t wait to finally see all the fans across North America again. Get ready for a wild ride this summer!”

As for other things the bands have been up to, Def Leppard are celebrating their 45th anniversary as a band, Mötley Crüe recently released a digital remaster of Theatre of Pain, Joan Jett has been gearing up for tour dates of her own, and back in 2020, Poison member Bret Michaels published a picture book/memoir titled Autoscrapography.

Tickets for the tour can be purchased on Def Leppard's, Mötley Crüe's, Joan Jett's, and Poison's official websites, as well as on Live Nation.
