Dinosaur Jr. Shares New Song 'Garden'

Dinosaur Jr. is back with a new song entitled "Garden." Written by Lou Barlow, the track is part of their upcoming album Sweep It Into Space, which is out April 23 via Jagjaguwar.

Dinosaur Jr. also released a new music video to accompany the track. In it, the band performs in snowy Western Massachussets while trippy illustrations - created by John Moloney and Chloe Hemingway - accent the scenery. The video was directed by Barlow and his wife, Adelle.

Sweep It Into Space was co-produced by Kurt Vile. The band previously released the album's lead single, "I Ran Away," one month ago. Dinosaur Jr. is also among one of the first U.S. bands to announce fall tour dates in the hopes the pandemic will be under control by then.

Besides Sweep It Into Space, the band has a new documentary in the works. Freakscene - The Story of Dinosaur Jr. will chronicle the band's journey into the spotlight and their influence on other 90's rock bands, such as Nirvana and Sonic Youth. The film is directed by Philipp Reichenheim and will be distributed by Rapid Eye Movements. A theatrical release date has yet to be announced.
