DJ Khaled Announces 12th Album 'Khaled Khaled' & Release Date

DJ Khaled has announced his new album Khaled Khaled is now "100% done" and ready to be released April 30.

“ALBUM 100% DONE! ITS TIME I TOLD MY TEAM LETS PUSH THE BUTTON! #KHALEDKHALED THIS FRIDAY APRIL 30TH,” wrote Khaled in a tweet. The new album will be released via We the Best Music, Epic, and Roc Nation. It's the follow-up to Khaled's album Father of Asahd, which was released in 2019 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

He also shared the cover art on April 27. It features Khaled on his knees praying alongside his two sons, Asahd and Aalam, in a lush garden. According to one of Khaled's posts, his kids took a leading role on the recording. "Executive produced by Asahd Khaled and Aalam Khaled," he wrote, explaining the meaning behind the album title.

Just like Father of Asahd, Khaled Khaled is expected to be an album with many guest stars. Khaled teased some of the A-list artists, including H.E.R., Migos, Meek Mill, Nas, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, and Timbaland. Khaled also shared a teaser for a song called “Thankful” featuring Lil Wayne and Jeremih.

Last week, Khaled professed his excitement by jumping into his swimming pool when two famous Justins - Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber - tried FaceTiming him. They had just submitted their vocals for the album. Khaled was so busy mixing it, he missed the call. In the post, he noted, "ALBUM 99% DONE!!!!!!!"

DJ Khaled also teased a new track featuring Drake last September on Instagram. The frequent collaborators released two songs last summer: “POPSTAR” and “GREECE,” which peaked at No. 3 and No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 respectively.
