Live365's "Featured Spotlight Station" this week is KPTR Party Train Radio! We spoke with Carmie Scott about the station's setup, what listeners can expect to hear, and the station's favorite songs. Check out the interview below!
What brought you to Live365?
I came to Live365 to use the service for reporting to PROs.
What's your studio like?
Our studio consists of a mic, headphones, Windows 10, SAM Broadcaster, and WinAmp.
What can listeners expect when they tune in to your station?
The listeners can expect to hear R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Blues, and more! They will also get to hear some talented independent artists in our network.
What has been your favorite moment as a DJ/Station Manager so far?
My favorite moment as a DJ is when I did my first interview with a legend. I enjoy being able to finally talk to the artists that I loved so much as a child growing up. I have gotten the chance to interview Freddie Jackson, Karyn White, James Mtume, Atlantic Starr, Monifa, CeCe Peniston, and many more. I look forward to interviewing more legends soon.
What is the best concert you've ever attended, and why?
The best concert I've ever attended was New Edition in the 80s. The energy was incredible. I have always admired their dancing and the way they performed. It was incredible to watch and very exciting. They knew how to keep the crowd pumped.
What artist (dead or alive) would you love to see live, but haven't had the chance to see?
Michael Jackson
