Live365's "Featured Spotlight Station" this week is Magic of the Mouse Radio! We spoke with William A. Guerro Sr. about their setup, what listeners can expect to hear, and the station's favorite songs. Check out the interview below!
What brought you to Live365?
We came to Live365 because of the ease of setup as well as the music licensing that's included in the monthly hosting fee.
What's your studio like?
Our studio consists of VirtualDJ, Shure SM7B and Austrian Audio OC18 mics, and Austrian Audio Hi-X55 headphones.
What can listeners expect when they tune in to your station?
Listeners can expect music from all of the Walt Disney movie soundtracks and the music from the Walt Disney theme parks and rides.
What has been your favorite moment as a DJ/Station Manager so far?
Not any one moment has been the best, I am a really big Disney fan and I've enjoyed sharing my love of Disney music.
What is the best concert you've ever attended, and why?
Live Aid in 1985 at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia, PA. It was the greatest collection of bands of the time. My highlight was seeing Led Zeppelin play "Stairway to Heaven" live with Phil Collins assisting Jason Bonham on drums.
What artist (dead or alive) would you love to see live, but haven't had the chance to see?
Buddy Holly, I really liked the few songs that he had before his tragic death. I would have loved seeing what other hits he would have made if he hadn’t passed away so young.
