Fleetwood Mac to Replace Rolling Stones at New Orleans Jazz Fest

The Rolling Stones were originally scheduled to headline this year's historic 50th anniversary New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, but due to the postponement of their upcoming tour dates, Fleetwood Mac will now be taking their place.

The Rolling Stones recently postponed their North American No Filter Tour due to Mick Jagger's health issues. Mick Jagger recently underwent a successful heart valve replacement procedure and is now in recovery.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Fleetwood Mac will perform at the festival on Thursday, May 2. Other performers include Katy Perry, Dave Matthews Band, Chris Stapleton, Jimmy Buffet, Van Morrison, Al Green, John Fogerty, Earth, Wind & Fire, Herbie Hancock, Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Tom Jones, Alanis Morissette, Gary Clark Jr., Jimmy Cliff, Mavis Staples, Jerry Lee Lewis, Kamasi Washington, Big Freedia, and more.

The New Orleans Jazz Fest 2019 takes place April 25-27 and May 2-5. A day-specific ticket is required for admission on May 2. General admission and VIP tickets are available at NOjazzfest.com and Ticketmaster.
