Foo Fighters Release Trailer for Horror Comedy 'Studio 666'

After revealing they had a horror comedy called Studio 666 in the works back in November, Foo Fighters have finally released the film's trailer.

The clip shows the band moving into a haunted house in Encino, California to record their 10th studio album. Hijinx, violence, possession, and lots of rock 'n' roll ensue.

In addition to the Foo Fighters, the film features Whitney Cummings, Leslie Grossman, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega, and Jeff Garlin. Directed by BJ McDonnell, the movie comes from a story by Foo frontman Dave Grohl - based on their real experiences recording Medicine at Midnight at that exact house - with a screenplay by Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes. Studio 666 will premiere in U.S. theaters on February 25, 2022.

After a very busy 2021, Foo Fighters shared a video for their Medicine at Midnight track “Love Dies Young” in November. It stars Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis as a swim coach. After a handful of West Coast dates in December, the band is set to resume their U.S. tour in February in Tempe, Arizona.
