Kelly Clarkson won one of the biggest singing competitions in history, and now, she's starting her own. Clarkson is taking her talk show’s “Kellyoke” segment — where she covers her favorite songs — on the road to welcome others to perform a duet of "Since U Been Gone".
Clarkson’s tour bus will make stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Chicago — but you can also audition on TikTok with the hashtag #KellyokeSearch. If you're one of the best, you could be picked to duet with her on the Kelly Clarkson Show.
“This summer we’re taking the Kelly Clarkson Show on the road to find some of the greatest voices across America,” Clarkson said in a video. “Come sing a virtual duet with me to one of my songs.” Rolling Stone reports that some of the best “virtual duets” may even be featured on Clarkson’s talk show, which just got renewed for a fourth season.
On Sunday, the tour bus just made its first stop in New York next to Rockefeller Plaza. A line of fans were spotted singing out their own versions "Since U Been Gone". Today (August 23), the bus will be at Rockefeller Plaza again from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. After that, it will travel to Chicago on August 27, then Dallas on September 3, and Los Angeles on September 7. In recent Clarkson news, the singer just dropped an EP of covers from her Kellyoke segment earlier this year, including Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever,” Linda Ronstadt’s “Blue Bayou,” and The Weeknd’s “Call Out My Name.”
