Watch the First Trailer for Tegan and Sara's TV Drama 'High School'

A trailer for High School, an upcoming TV drama based on sibling pop duo Tegan and Sara’s memoir of the same name, is here!

The coming-of-age series stars TikTok creators Railey and Seazynn Gilliland as Tegan and Sara. Clea DuVall serves as executive producer, co-writer, director, and co-showrunner. Tegan and Sara also executive produce the show. The series premieres October 14 via Amazon Freevee.

Produced by Amazon Studios and Plan B Entertainment, “High School is a story about finding your own identity—a journey made even more complicated when you have a twin whose own struggle and self-discovery so closely mimic your own,” according to press materials. “Told through a backdrop of ’90s grunge and rave culture, the series weaves between parallel and discordant memories of twin sisters growing up down the hall from one another.”

The first trailer for High School drops just before Tegan and Sara are gearing up to release their tenth studio album Crybaby. It will be released a few days after the premiere of High School, on October 21. Afterwards, the Quin sisters will embark on a tour to support the album. It begins on October 26 in Philadelphia.

In July, Tegan and Sara dropped a single called "Yellow". The indie duo also released a reimagined version of their 2004 breakout album So Jealous back in February. Afterwards, they marked a new deal with Mom+Pop with the April single “F---ing Up What Matters” which will appear on Crybaby. The video for that song also featured Railey and Seazynn Gilliland.
