Lollapalooza Announces 2021 Lineup: Megan Thee Stallion, Tyler, the Creator, Miley Cyrus, & More

Lollapalooza is returning to Chicago this summer and is the latest music festival to announce a 2021 lineup.

The festival will feature headliners Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Tyler, the Creator, and Miley Cyrus, as well as sets from Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, EarthGang, Rico Nasty, slowthai, BROCKHAMPTON, Playboi Carti, Band of Horses, Young Thug, Modest Mouse, and many others.

While it was suspected the Lollapalooza location would change this summer in light of the pandemic, the festival officially announced its return yesterday (May 19) and stated it can safely go back to the traditional Grant Park location. Doing this will require attendees to show proof of full vaccination or negative COVID-19 tests.

Chicago Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot said in press materials:

“Here in Chicago, the word ‘Lollapalooza’ has always been synonymous with summer, great music and four days of unforgettable fun—which made last year’s decision to postpone it all the more difficult. Now, less than a year later and armed with a vaccine that is safe, effective and widely available, we are able to bring back one of our city’s most iconic summer music festivals. I want to thank the Lollapalooza team for working closely with the City to create a reopening strategy that prioritizes safety and can’t wait to see festivalgoers return to Grant Park this summer.”

Lollapalooza is the latest major music festival to reopen to the public after the COVID-19 pandemic. Rolling Loud, Bonnaroo, and New York's Governors Ball have also announced lineups.

Lollapalooza will be happening July 29 through August 1 and you can get tickets here.
