Once again, My Chemical Romance have rescheduled their North American tour dates. The band's long-awaited reunion tour will now begin at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 29, 2022.
The emo band’s reunion tour was announced in January 2020 and was originally set to begin that fall. Once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the tour was rescheduled to 2021 before being pushed to 2022. Fortunately, tickets for all original dates will be honored, with refunds available for a limited time. You can find the new tour dates posted on the My Chemical Romance website.
The band released an official statement on their Instagram page, saying, “We are deeply sad, but those emotions are only a fraction of the depth of feeling we have all experienced watching the suffering and loss of the past year. We just want to be as sure as we can be that everyone is safe."
While their tour has been pushed back, My Chemical Romance are still scheduled to play at 2021 festival dates, including Riot Fest in Chicago this September. Their first performance of 2022 is set for March 12 at the Outerfields at Western Springs in New Zealand.
