Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Release ‘Distant Sky’ Concert Film to YouTube

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds originally had a one-night-only screening for their 2018 concert film Distant Sky — Live in Copenhagen. Now, the full concert film is available for free on YouTube.

The news comes via Cave's Twitter, “I’ve been getting many letters on The Red Hand Files asking about access to the Distant Sky — Live in Copenhagen movie. Here it is! With Love at Christmas, Nick.”

The film, which was directed by David Barnard, documents the October 2017 concert at Denmark’s Royal Arena that was part of the tour supporting 2016’s Skeleton Tree. The concert setlist includes tracks from throughout the band's career, although the focus is largely on Skeleton Tree.

Aside from the one-night-only screening, the film was also made available to stream for a few days on Cave’s website in April.
