Over a year after she released "Diamonds" with Megan Thee Stallion, former Fifth Harmony member Normani will be releasing a new single tomorrow (July 16), with the other half of "WAP," Cardi B.
"Wild Side" will drop at midnight eastern time (9pm PT and 5am BST). It will come ahead of the release of Normani’s long-awaited debut album, which is currently in the works. The single's release follows Normani's 2019 debut solo single "Motivation," which garnered her comparisons to a younger Beyoncé.
The track will also be accompanied by a new music video. Normani revealed the pending visual after Cardi tweeted, “The world is ready for Normani supremacy!!!!” Normani then replied, "“okay sooooo I just watched the video again. sis what the actual f***.”

Back in February, Normani announced her return with a snippet of new music posted to Twitter. “Know it’s been awhile,” the caption said. The 20-second video featured Normani laying in a grassy field backed with music that samples Aaliyah's 1996 track "One In A Million."
Normani also released the artwork for "Wild Side," which features her and Cardi B laying on a pearly platform in a dreamy landscape, covered only by strands of hair. It seems to subtly reference Sandro Botticelli's "Birth of Venus" painting.
Previously, Normani has worked with Khalid on "Love Lies," from the Love, Simon soundtrack, and Sam Smith on their track "Dancing with a Stranger." The singer has also collaborated with 6LACK, Calvin Harris, Quavo, and Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.
