Sir Paul McCartney has announced a headlining tour across North America, kicking off in late September. It will be his first run of shows across the United States and Canada in three years.
The outing extends the Got Back Tour he launched in 2022, as he returns to cities including Atlanta, Montreal, Chicago, Buffalo, Las Vegas, Denver, and Nashville. He will also hit up two new places he's never jammed in before: Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the Greater Palm Springs area.

The 19-date tour officially begins September 29 with the Palm Desert show, and concludes in Chicago on November 25. Tickets for McCartney’s North American shows will go on sale Friday, July 18 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. A pre-sale for members of McCartney’s fan club is slated for Tuesday, July 15th at 10 a.m. local time (registration is ongoing).
Earlier this year, McCartney played a trio of thrilling concerts at Bowery Ballroom in New York City, coinciding with his appearance on SNL50. During the anniversary special, he performed “Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End” from the Beatles’ 1969 album Abbey Road.
Earlier this year, McCartney announced Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run, a new 528-page book chronicling the formation and adventures of his 1970s band Wings after the Beatles broke up. Written by McCartney and featuring an introduction by editor Ted Widmer, the book comes out November 4. Wings also put out a 50th-anniversary edition of Band on the Run, as well as the much-bootlegged live studio album One Hand Clapping, in 2024.
As for other news related to the Beatles: the disbanded group recently won a 2025 Grammy Award (Best Rock Performance) for their song, "Now and Then." The track came from a 1970s John Lennon demo tape, and was only able to be completed using the help of AI technology. Other than that, a four-part Beatles biopic is currently in the works. Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Harris Dickinson, and Joseph Quinn have been cast as the Fab Four. Mescal will be portraying McCartney.
