Red Hot Chili Peppers to Live Stream Performance at Egypt's Pyramids

This Friday, March 15, Red Hot Chili Peppers will play a landmark show at Egypt's Pyramids of Giza. Fans will be able to live stream the show on the band’s official YouTube page, as well as on Twitter and Facebook, beginning at 2pm ET on Friday.

“My heart is abuzz with joy at the prospect of performing in Egypt,” bassist Flea said in a statement. “I’m so grateful and humbled for the impending experience. The pyramids, it’s unbelievable, we just jumped at the opportunity…I have always been fascinated by Egypt and that region of the world and I am so excited to go.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently working on their 12th album, the follow-up to 2016’s The Getaway.
