Another week means another ShaqFu Radio featured artist and this week that artist is Cardi B!
Cardi B is an American rapper, songwriter, and television personality. Cardi B officially started her music career in 2015 when she was featured on Jamaican reggae fusion singer Shaggy's remix to his single "Boom Boom." She then went on to release 2 mixtapes and appeared on a compilation album before releasing her breakout hit single "Bodak Yellow" in 2017. "Bodak Yellow" reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, it was eventually certified septuple platinum, received 2 Grammy nominations, was named "the rap anthem of the summer," and sent Cardi B into superstardom. Cardi B has since been featured on a number of collaborations and released her debut studio album Invasion of Privacy. Cardi B continues to be nominated for a variety of awards, sit at the top of the charts, and break records.
Shaq and Cardi B have perhaps one of the the most interesting public interactions. Cardi B actually treated Shaq to a much-needed pedicure earlier this year and she posted a video on Instagram revealing Shaq's sparkly color he was newly sporting on his toes. Check out the video below!
