Skepta to Release New EP 'All In' This Week

British MC Skepta has announced his new EP All In is set to drop later this week. The EP is a follow-up to his 2019 record Ignorance is Bliss, as well as last year's collaborative album he made alongside Chip and Young Adz, Insomnia.

The rapper first announced the EP last month, after hinting in March he might be retiring after one more song. However, the retirement part of his announcement may have just been bait. Last week, Skepta refuted the claims that he was retiring on Instagram Live.

“I could never quit music,” he told fans. “I don’t know who’s pushing that narrative, pushing that agenda that Skeppy is stopping music and all that. How? I am music.”

All In will be released July 30, the week after U.K. rapper Dave dropped his new album We’re All Alone In This Together. “I’m going to let Dave’s album come out this week then I’m going to drop it the week after,” he said over Instagram Live.

On July 25, the rapper shared another announcement and the tracklist for All In. The EP, produced by Joshua Faulkner, will include 5 songs and feature appearances by Kid Cudi, J Balvin, and Alté star Teezee. The cover art sees Skepta looking at the camera from the shadows, a round spotlight behind him.

Skepta's last musical contribution was the new track "Lane Switcha" from the Fast and Furious 9 soundtrack. It was a collaboration between he and A$AP Rocky, Juicy J, Project Pat, and the late Pop Smoke. Before that, he appeared on Kid Cudi’s latest album, Man On The Moon III, on the track "Show Out," which also features Pop Smoke.

Additionally, Skepta teamed up with JAE5 and Rema on “Dimension,” and slowthai on “CANCELLED.” JAE5 also had a part to play on All In, producing one of the songs.

Meanwhile, Skepta will headline this year’s Wireless Festival alongside Future and Migos. The sold-out festival is moving to South London’s Crystal Palace Park for this year’s extravaganza and will run from September 10-12.
