In addition to Slayer's last leg of their farewell tour this fall, they are releasing a film and live album entitled The Repentless Killogy.
The film includes three of Slayer's Repentless album music videos, "You Against You,” “Repentless,” and “Pride in Prejudice,” and continues into a narrative of the main character Wyatt seeking revenge on the neo-Nazi gang that he was once a member of. The narrative portion of the movie was written and directed by BJ McDonnell, who also directed the music videos.
Also included in the film is an entire Slayer concert, which was filmed at the Los Angeles Forum on Aug. 5, 2017. The concert portion of the film was directed by Wayne Isham.
The cast includes Jason Trost, who plays Wyatt, Danny Trejo, Richard Speight, Derek Mears, Jessica Pimentel, Tyler Mane, Bill Moseley, Caroline Williams, and Sean Whalen.
The movie will be relased on Blu-ray and digital, and the live album of Slayer's show at the Forum will be available on CD and vinyl. The film and album are both available to preorder and will be released on Nov. 8.
