The Beatles’ ‘Yellow Submarine’ Sing-A-Long Movie Event to Take Place on YouTube

On Saturday, April 25, the Beatles’ 1968 animated movie, Yellow Submarine, is airing for one time only on the band's official YouTube channel. Taking place at noon EDT, the movie event will be a sing-a-long as lyrics will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Yellow Submarine, the fourth Beatles movie, was directed by George Dunning and written by Lee Minoff, Al Brodax, Jack Mendelsohn, and Erich Segal. The sing-a-long edition of the film was released in theaters in 2018 to celebrate the film’s 50th anniversary, but it hasn’t been available anywhere since.

Ringo Starr announced the news via the band's Twitter, encouraging everyone to "#StayHome with us in a celebration of love and music."

The "Yellow Submarine Sing-A-Long Watch Party" will take place on Saturday, April 25 at 12pm EDT here.
