The Cure to Release '40 Live Curaetion 25 + Anniversary' Box Set

As part of the celebration of The Cure’s 40th anniversary as a band, they are releasing a new limited edition box set, which captures two of the band's recent concerts, both in audio and video.

Out Oct. 18, the 40 Live Curaetion 25 + Anniversary box set contains the tenth and final night of last year’s Meltdown Festival as well as the band’s 40th anniversary concert at London’s Hyde Park last summer.

The Cure’s Meltdown Festival performance, entitled Curaetion-25: From There To Here | From Here To There for this release, is divided into two parts. The first section, “From There to Here”, includes one song from each of their 13 studio albums in chronological order. The second section, “From Here to There”, then moves backwards through their discography. Also included are two unreleased songs, “It Can Never Be the Same” and “Step Into the Light.” Curaetion-25 captures the entire concert in HD with 5.1 surround sound.

Anniversary: 1978-2018 Live In Hyde Park London documents the 29-song performance at Hyde Park in 4K with 5.1 surround sound.

40 Live Curaetion 25 + Anniversary will be available in 4 forms, 2 Blu-ray and 4 CDs with a 40 page hardback book, 2 DVD and 4 CDs with a 40 page hardback book, 2 Blu-ray and a 16 page booklet, and 2 DVDs and a 16 page booklet. Digital versions of Curaetion 25 and Anniversary will also be released.
