The National Digitally Release Live Album 'Juicy Sonic Magic'

The National's latest live album Juicy Sonic Magic, which was recorded in 2018 at Berkeley’s Greek Theatre, is now available on streaming platforms.

The recording of the live album took place over two sold-out nights that were part of the tour supporting 2017's Sleep Well Beast. Produced and engineered by Erik Flannigan, the live album was recorded using The Mike Millard Method, which was used to record shows in the 70s and 80s.

The 45-track live album was initially released in November as a special triple-cassette box set for Record Store Day - Black Friday 2019. An accompanying short documentary showcasing The Mike Millard Method was also released at the same time.
