Thin Lizzy Prep Massive 'Rock Legends' Box Set

In celebration of Thin Lizzy's 50th anniversary, the band is releasing Rock Legends, a new box set that will collect 99 tracks, including 74 unreleased recordings.

The six-CD/one-DVD set will include a mix of demos, radio sessions, live recordings, and rare single edits, as well as a live performance from Rod Stewart’s Night on the Town TV special and Bad Reputation, the 60-minute documentary that aired on BBC4 in September 2015. Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham and band expert Nick Sharp created the track listing from a collection of newly discovered tapes.

The box set will also feature a hardback book, Phil Lynott’s poetry books, four prints by Thin Lizzy cover artist Jim Fitzpatrick, and an additional book containing quotes from members on their experiences in the band.

Rock Legends is due out Oct. 23 and you can preoder it here.
