Watch Trailer for Martin Scorsese’s Netflix Documentary on Bob Dylan

The first trailer for Martin Scorsese’s Netflix documentary about Bob Dylan’s legendary 1975 tour, Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story, was released. The film will hit select theaters and will be available to stream on June 12.

This is the second Scorsese documentary focused on the singer, and it will feature Dylan’s first on-camera interview in over a decade.

"It wasn’t a success, not if you measure success in terms of profit,” Dylan says of the tour in a clip. “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Or finding anything. Life is about creating yourself.”

"Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese captures the troubled spirit of America in 1975, and the joyous music that Bob Dylan performed that fall," says Netflix of the documentary. "The film goes beyond mere reclamation of Dylan’s extraordinary music—it’s a roadmap into the wild country of artistic self-reinvention."

Alongside the film, Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings will be released on June 7. The 14-disc collection features five complete shows from the 1975 tour, rarities and rehearsals, and an unreleased rehearsal version of “One More Cup of Coffee (Valley Below).”
