Rock and Roll Hall of Famers ZZ Top will be embarking on a lengthy U.S. tour this summer to celebrate their 50th anniversary as a band.
Beginning Aug. 16 in Ridgefield, WA and ending on Oct. 20 in West Palm Beach, FL, the tour will take the band to 34 cities across the U.S. Cheap Trick will join ZZ Top for most of the tour, with Lynyrd Skynyrd joining for a few select dates.
"It's been five decades, and I think we’re starting to get pretty good at all this," Billy Gibbons said of the 50th anniversary tour in a statement. "We’re truly excited to be appearing across the continent this summer and fall, playing our bluesy kind of rock like we started in '69."
Tickets go on sale on Ticketmaster starting Friday, April 12 at 10am local time.
