Center Stage on Live365 this week is Wedding & Events Radio, playing all wedding and private event hits. We spoke with station manager Will Shumate about their history with radio, their station's programming, and we got some music recommendations. Check out the interview below!
What made you get started in radio?
We own a wedding DJ company and no one had an online radio station that took intrerest in the industry.

What's your favorite part about running your own radio station?
Easy to use and able to make changes as needed.
Tell us about your station's programming. What can listeners expect when they tune in to your station?
We play slow dance songs as well as upbeat dance music to get people dancing. It's a variety of new songs, recurrents, and classics that you may hear at any given wedding.
Name one artist that you play on your station that is underrated in your opinion.
What's your favorite music memory/moment?
Playing songs that get people to go "OMG I haven't heard this in such a long time."

Great song to get a party started and let them enjoy themselves. -
"Fallin' For You" - Colbie Caillat
One of the best love songs that has been released in the the past 20 years. -
"Heaven" - Bryan Adams
Probably best known as a classic love song. No matter where we play it, young and old couples start dancing. -
"Leave the Door Open" - Silk Sonic
Great enjoyable song for many couples to just relax and listen to while with guests or it's great to slow down the fast dancing during any wedding. -
"You Make My Dreams" - Daryl Hall & John Oates
This is another one of the classic love songs that is very upbeat and really timeless. -
"Let's Get Married (ReMarqable Remix)" - Jagged Edge
I would say this is the theme song for our station if we had one because it is very upbeat and a great song to get people going.
