Live Nation Urban, LiveXLive Media, Inc., and Color of Change have teamed up for Lift Every Voice: A Juneteenth Special, a 90-minute showcase streaming on Friday, June 19 that will feature performances and conversations with Common, Robert Glasper, Justine Skye, Vic Mensa, and more.
The special, which will be hosted by Charlamagne Tha God with correspondent Gia Peppers, will be "the ultimate celebration of Black history and heritage." Karriem Riggins, Jonathan McReynolds, Mick Jenkins, Joy Oladokun, Fantastic Negrito, Trae Tha Truth, Lion Babe, T.I., Mereba, and Leon Bridges will also participate in the event.
Live Nation Urban's Brandon Pankey said in a press release, "Live Nation Urban is proud to partner with LiveXLive and Color of Change to bring light to a day that has been revered by African Americans for generations. Its cultural relevance and significance globally cannot be understated."
