Bright Eyes Announce Reunion Tour & Tease New Music

After recently announcing some comeback shows, Bright Eyes have unveiled a full reunion tour as well as teased new music.

Bright Eyes will be embarking on a world tour this year, making stops in North America and Europe. The band will start with one show in Tokyo, Japan on March 23 before heading to North America for May and June. Then, they will head to Europe with shows from mid-August to early-September. Lavender Diamond, Japanese Breakfast, and Lucy Dacus will serve as support on select dates.

Aside from the news of the tour, they have also teased a new record in a clip uploaded to YouTube. At the end of the 1-minute clip showcasing an orchestra, the hashtag #BrightEyes2020 appears on the screen.

Frontman Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis, and Nate Wolcott have been on a nine-year hiatus from the band, which began after their 2011 album The People’s Key.

Tickets for their reunion tour go on sale on Friday, Feb. 21 at 12pm ET.
