Roddy Ricch Uncovers Details of Sophomore Album 'Live Life Fast'

Roddy Ricch has a new album on the way, and he's just revealed the project's cover art and release date.

“livelifefast 12/17 spread the word,” Ricch captioned the album’s cover art when he posted it to social media on December 1. The art features him in a bright yellow jacket cinematically driving past a city skyline in a black Rolls-Royce. Alongside the announcement, Ricch paid tribute to the artwork's inspiration, Nipsey Hussle's Victory Lap, on Twitter.

Live Life Fast will be the follow-up to Ricch's 2019 debut studio album, Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial. Released via Atlantic Records and Bird Vision Entertainment, that record spent 103 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart, with four weeks at No. 1. His song “The Box” also spent 11 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the track earned Ricch three 2021 Grammy nominations.

When the Twitter account @chartdata announced on November 8 Ricch's debut album had spent 100 weeks on the Billboard 200, Ricch hinted at a new project with the reply, "all my fans GOATs ! it’s time for another one."

Live Life Fast is currently available for pre-save on Spotify and Apple Music. Physical copies of the album can be pre-ordered from Ricch’s official online store before December 17.

In other Roddy Ricch news, the rapper most recently released “Lemme Find Out” alongside Bino Rideaux in October and solo single “Late at Night” in June. The latter song will most likely be featured on Live Life Fast. Additionally, Ricch recently appeared on Kanye West’s Donda track “Pure Souls,” making the Compton rapper one of the many nominees for the 2022 Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
