Lorde Releases 'Fallen Fruit' Music Video

Lorde has finally released the official music video for her Solar Power hit, "Fallen Fruit."

The visual for the somber song, which discusses the effects of climate change, sees Lorde walking through a grassy area and beach before being driven off by a car. The video switches between day and nighttime shots. In the day, things in the ecosystem are peaceful. In the night shots, you can see objects burning, plants destroyed, and even people running in fear.

The video was directed by both Joel Kefali (a frequent collaborator for Lorde music videos) and the New Zealand singer herself. It is the third visual in tandem with Solar Power. The first was the iconic beach video released for the album's title track, and the second was for the song "Mood Ring."

Beginning in February 2022, Lorde will tour in support of Solar Power. She’ll kick things off in her native New Zealand before heading to the United States and Canada for spring concerts. Lorde will then go to Europe and the United Kingdom for more shows. You can find tickets here.
