Miranda Lambert is helping launch a new scripted podcast, Make It Up As We Go, that will follow the experience of a female singer/songwriter in country music.
Actor-songwriter Scarlett Burke and Miranda Lambert will star in the podcast with Dennis Quaid, Billy Bob Thornton, Lindsay Ell, Bobby Bones, and Craig Robinson also appearing. The podcast will feature original music from Lambert, Burke, Ell, and songwriter Nicolle Galyon.
Executive produced by Lambert, Make It Up As We Go was co-created by Burke and Audio Up CEO Jared Gutstadt, and will tell the story of an aspiring young female songwriter and her journey to find success in country music with all of its highs and lows.
Make It Up As We Go debuts on Oct. 1 via the iHeartPodcast Networks.
