Steve Earle Remembers Justin Townes Earle with 'Harlem River Blues' Performance on Kimmel

Steve Earle appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with his band The Dukes on Thursday to perform his rendition of “Harlem River Blues” in honor of his late son Justin Townes Earle.

Earlier this week, Steve released a covers album entitled J.T. featuring 10 of his son's songs. Justin passed away in August 2020 following an accidental drug overdose.

J.T. is available digitally now, and the CD and vinyl versions are set to be released on Mar. 19. 100% of the artist advances and royalties earned from sales of J.T. will be donated to a trust for Justin’s three-year-old daughter Etta St. James.
