A massive immersive experience celebrating reggae icon Bob Marley will be opening in the U.S. early next year. It promises to show off rare photographs, lots of music, and even a pair of Marley’s footwear.
The multi-room exhibit Bob Marley: One Love Experience will open in Los Angeles on January 27 at Ovation Hollywood. It follows runs in London and Toronto. The 15,000-square foot experience will include concert videos, lyric sheets, guitars, a soccer jersey, art that highlight Marley’s influence, and more. Within the space will also be a 2,000-square foot "One Love Forest," which will take visitors on a trip to Jamaica in a multi-sensory environment.
“After being in London and Toronto, it’s going to be amazing bringing the experience here to the U.S. for the first time and just steps from Daddy’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Cedella Marley, CEO of Bob Marley Group, said in a statement. The exhibit is produced by the Marley Family and Terrapin Station Entertainment.
Tickets are available exclusively via Fever on December 7. To learn more info about the exhibit and join a waitlist to score tickets early, visit bobmarleyexp.com. The exhibit is not the only project to celebrate Marley’s life recently. Earlier this year, it was announced Kingsley Ben-Adir would play the reggae artist in a biopic. Also this year, a West End musical about Marley called Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical premiered in London.
