Top 10 Fountains of Wayne Songs

American rock band Fountains of Wayne was formed in New York City in 1995 after co-founders Adam Schlesinger and Chris Collingwood met in college. The duo released their self-titled debut album in 1996 and, shortly after, recruited Jody Porter and Brian Young to join the band as well. With the help of Porter and Young, the band went on to release four more studio albums and one compilation album.

Schlesinger, the band’s bassist, sadly passed away in April 2020 due to complications brought on by COVID-19. In remembrance of Schlesinger, who also co-wrote on all of Fountains of Wayne’s material, we rounded up just 10 of our favorite songs from the band (of course including the iconic track "Stacy’s Mom").

"Sink to the Bottom" (Fountains of Wayne, 1996)

"Radiation Vibe" (Fountains of Wayne, 1996)

"Stacy’s Mom" (Welcome Interstate Managers, 2003)

"Denise" (Utopia Parkway, 1999)
