Rapper Machine Gun Kelly and blink-182 drummer Travis Barker are teaming up again for another record: MGK's sixth album, Born with Horns.
The duo announced the album Monday (Aug. 9) by showing off matching tattoos with the album's title. "Ah sh-- bro, that looks hard as f---," Kelly declared in an Instagram video of him and Barker posing with their fresh ink. Artists like YG, Tyla Yaweh, Lil Huddy, and more offered their excitement for the new project in the comments section.
Additionally, MGK teased the first single from Born with Horns in an Instagram video last week. Kelly played a clip of the song while relaxing in his car. Whatever the new single is called, the music video for it will be directed by Cole Bennett and released on Wednesday (Aug. 11) at midnight ET.
Like on the last album, Travis Barker will be credited as executive producer. Barker helped Kelly transition from alternative hip hop to a more pop-punk sound for his last studio project, Tickets to My Downfall. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 in October. The switch in sound was a big success, as the LP was MGK's first No. 1 album and the first No. 1 rock project on the all-genre albums chart in over a year. Tickets also earned Kelly the award for Best Rock Album at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.

In other Machine Gun Kelly news, the artist recently did a surprise set on day 3 of Lollapalooza, which included some stunning parkour. Daughter Casie Baker and girlfriend Megan Fox were also in attendance during the performance. Aside from music, MGK - also known as Colson Baker - is currently working as the lead on a film about a rising fictional musician with a troubled life. The production recently took criticism on the planned title, Good News, a title taken from a song by the late Mac Miller. After Miller's brother spoke out, the production announced the film would be renamed, but a new title has yet to be announced.
As for Barker, aside from his features on numerous recent pop punk tracks, blink-182 released a new single titled "Quarantine" on August 7, 2020. The band plans to release a new EP in 2021, however plans may be dented due to Mark Hoppus' cancer diagnosis. The bassist has been seeking treatment in secret for three months.
