Phoebe Bridgers, Lindsey Jordan & Fred Durst to Appear in New A24 Horror Movie

Phoebe Bridgers, Snail Mail’s Lindsey Jordan, and Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst are all slated to appear in a new horror film produced by A24.

Titled I Saw the TV Glow, the upcoming movie follows two teenagers — played by Justice Smith and Bridgette Lundy-Paine — as they obsess over a scary TV show and begin to question the difference between TV and reality. The film is written and directed by Jane Schoenbrun, who made the surprise Sundance horror hit We're All Going to the World's Fair.

Bridgers’ involvement comes by way of her role in the band Sloppy Jane, which as The Hollywood Reporter points out, will be featured in the film along with the band King Woman. The film’s cast also includes Amber Benson, Ian Foreman, Conner O’Malley, Michael Maronna, Emma Portner, and Danny Tamberelli.

“Just honored beyond belief to announce that I’m acting in the f-----g genius Jane Schoenbrun’s new movie I Saw the TV Glow,” Jordan of Snail Mail wrote on Instagram. Not only will the film be produced by A24, but also Emma Stone’s production company Fruit Tree.

We’re All Going to the World’s Fair was screened at the 2021 edition of the Sundance Film Festival and included a soundtrack composed by Alex G. Jane Schoenbrun was nominated for Sundance's NEXT Innovator Award for the film.
