DJ Opie is a Canadian DJ who found his way back to music through loss. Opie was his puppy—taken too soon after being hit by a car—and in the aftermath he rebuilt himself through sound, adopting the name “Opie” as a tribute and a reminder to keep going. With a dance background and a deep instinct for movement, his sets are guided by emotion and often anchored by lyrics out front. Style stays wide on purpose: a blend of genres, unexpected turns, and moments that hit where they’re meant to. You never quite know what you’re going to get—only that it will be honest, alive, and made to move people.
