With Super Bowl LIII happening in less than two weeks, we thought it was only appropriate to take a look back at the 10 best Super Bowl halftime performances in the history of the game.

We crowd-sourced this idea and got a ton of responses. It was really hard to cut it down to just the top 10!

10. Justin Timberlake (2018)

JT was just okay, but let's talk about that marching band! How cool to include the University of Minnesota Marching Band!

9. The Rolling Stones (2006)

The crowd hidden under the tongue was pretty great! And they killed the performance as usual.

8. Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band (2009)

Springsteen is the man! Just a few seconds into the set and he was already jumping up on pianos and driving the crowd wild.

7. Katy Perry, Missy Elliott, Lenny Kravitz, and Left Shark (2015)

Left Shark stole the show.

6. 'NSYNC, Aerosmith, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, and Nelly (2001)

With 'NSYNC eventually joining Aerosmith on stage for a dance-off, and Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, and Nelly joining everyone on stage to sing "Walk This Way," it was one big, fun party on stage.

5. Shania Twain, No Doubt, and Sting (2003)

Two female power performers -- Shania and Gwen! Plus, Sting's performance at the end helped round out the performance.

4. Destiny's Child (2013)

Sure, it was billed as "Beyonce," but she brought Kelly and Michelle out. In any '90s kid's mind, this was Destiny's Child.

3. Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers (2014)

Bruno Mars is an amazing performer and got the crowd jumping, singing, and screaming. But, the Red Hot Chili Peppers definitely helped to elevate this performance!

2. Lady Gaga (2017)

Sure, there was controversy over her intro with the roof jump being pre-recorded, but who cares. She was phenomenal.

1. Prince, (2007)

Holy purple rain! By some crazy coincidence, it actually started raining during Prince's performance. You can't really top that.

And last but not least, an honorable mention goes out to U2 for their post-9/11 performance in 2002.
