Bonnaroo 2022 Lineup Announced: J. Cole, Tool, Stevie Nicks, & More
After two years of cancellations, the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is trying again with a 2022 festival lineup. It includes J. Cole, Tool, Stevie Nicks, The War on Drugs, Japanese Breakfast, Chvrches, The Chicks, 100 gecs, Herbie Hancock, Tierra Whack, The Weather Station, Denzel Curry, slowthai, Sons of Kemet, Indigo De Souza, Tinashe, and many more.
Bonnaroo will be returning to Manchester, Tennessee from June 16-19. The festival, like many music festivals trying to stay active during the pandemic, has faced a number of setbacks. Its 2020 edition was canceled due to the initial COVID-19 outbreak. Then, the festival was pushed to September of 2021. A number of artists withdrew from the event due to the sudden spread of the Delta variant. The 2021 edition of the festival was eventually canceled for unrelated issues, namely the immense flooding from Hurricane Ida.
The latest iteration of the fest will feature 10 stages. Tickets go on sale Thursday at 12pm CT on the Bonnaroo website. Ticket options range from general admission to platinum camping, and a variety of new experiences are already being lined up for this year.
“Bonnaroo has paid close attention to fan feedback throughout its history in order to best enhance the onsite experience, each year integrating new features and exciting upgrades to the overall event,” organizers stated in a press release. “Bonnaroo 2022 will see the debut of an array of additional activities and site improvements, including enhanced signage, wayfinding help, pedicabs, info booths, cooling stations, and much more.”
The festival will see the return of campground hubs called plazas, a free on-site transportation system called JamTrack, and improvements to camping and stage setup to enhance the overall experience.
