Brian Johnson's Travel Series 'Life on the Road' to Air in U.S.

AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson’s travel series Life on the Road is making its way to America on AXS TV in September. The series previously aired in the United Kingdom and Ireland in 2017, but now it is making its debut on American television.

Premiering on Sept. 15, Life on the Road features Johnson traveling around the world to interview rock stars like Roger Daltrey, Robert Plant, Sting, Billy Joel, Nick Mason, and more. They have authentic conversations about the rockers' formative years, their music, and their ongoing passions.

In a statement, Johnson said, “To sit and chat with my friends and heroes while filming ‘On The Road’ was ridiculous fun, and with no professional journalists around, you can feel the trust.”

Johnson's travels in the show include Metallica’s San Fransisco's headquarters, a ruined castle in North Wales, and the former site of CBGB in New York, to name a few.

Brian Johnson: Life on the Road premieres Sunday, Sept. 15 at 9pm ET/6pm PT on AXS TV.
