Jimmy Buffett Drops the Mic After National Anthem Performance at NFL Playoff Game
Last night, Jimmy Buffett ended his performance of the National Anthem at the NFC Championship game in New Orleans with a mic drop.
Prior to the game between the Rams and the Saints, Buffett, a lifelong Saints fan, performed a straightforward rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Then, just after he finished the last line, “And the home of the brave,” Buffett lifted his right arm and dropped the mic near the 50-yard line.

After 2 overtime playoff games, the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots will be heading to Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII, which will take place on Sunday, February 3, 2019 with kickoff at 6:30 pm ET.
