Lollapalooza 2021 to Stream on Hulu
For the first time, legendary Chicago music festival Lollapalooza has partnered exclusively with streaming service Hulu to livestream the event, Billboard reports.
This is welcome news for any music lover who can't swing a ticket or those anxious about the Delta variant. "We are thrilled to be partnering for the first time with Hulu for this year's livestream and are excited that the Lollapalooza fans who cannot be with us in Chicago have such a great platform to experience the show," Courtney Trucksess, sponsorship director of Lollapalooza festival promoter C3 Presents, said in a statement.
Those subscribed to Hulu's on-demand service will be able to watch the four-day music festival (July 29-August 1) at no additional cost. The lineup for the exclusive Hulu livestream will be finalized next week. The stream will begin each day at 10am PT and wrap up at 9pm PT. More information about the event can be found on Hulu's website.
Lollapalooza announced its lineup back in May and remains one of the first music festivals to re-open after the pandemic shuttered live events last year.
Lollapalooza - which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year - will happen at full capacity in Chicago's Grant Park and include performers like Miley Cyrus, Megan Thee Stallion, Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Tyler, the Creator, DaBaby, Journey, BROCKHAMPTON, and more.
